家の中はとても清潔で家具のセンスも非常に良く大変満足でした。
居心地も抜群で自宅以上にくつろげました！
寝室はベッドの寝心地も大変良く気持ち良く眠れました。
キッチンには調理道具や調味料もひと通り揃っていてたすかりました！
玄関三和土の造りが素晴らしいです！
枯山水や火鉢がセンスの良さを物語っております！☺
駐車場が建屋の真裏でしたが少し遠く、車がヴェルファイアでしたが、入るまでの曲がり角が狭く少々苦労しました。
最後のチェックアウトの際、外に出て車に乗っていると清掃の方が宿から3件先前方の家の前に車をとめ、車の中からこちらの動きをずっと見られていて圧がすごかったことです。

Wat een prachtig huis in Nikko. We verbleven er met ons gezin met 3 kinderen. Er was ruim plaats en alles was modern en nieuw, Japans ingericht. Overal was aan gedacht. Echt zeer comfortabel. Het huis ligt in een zijstraat dicht bij de hoofdstraat die leidt naar het tempelcompex. We hadden hier gerust langer willen verblijven!

This was one of the most impressive accommodations of our Japan trip. The entire house has been beautifully renovated and feels brand new while still preserving a traditional Japanese atmosphere. The smell of fresh wood throughout the house was wonderful and made it feel especially warm and welcoming.
The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and has everything needed for a longer stay. The house offers plenty of space, with a large bedroom featuring three very comfortable double beds, a traditional tatami room with futons upstairs, another bedroom with two double beds downstairs, and a stunning living room with large sofas and a big TV. The bathrooms are modern, spotless, and exactly what you would hope for in a high-quality Japanese home.
The location is also excellent. Nikko Station, restaurants, convenience stores, and the main sights are all easily accessible, and there is a private parking space just behind the house.
Our only real complaint was the lack of proper blackout curtains or shutters. All bedrooms become very bright early in the morning, especially during summer when the sun rises before 5 a.m. The existing blinds provide privacy but do little to block the light.
As we were travelling with a young child, this resulted in very early wake-ups and noticeably less sleep. For international guests who are used to darker bedrooms, better blackout options would make a significant difference.
