Firstly i think it’s worth stating the flat is in a great location and is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I booked this accommodation through bookings.com but this property is managed through a 3rd party called Airkeeper, let’s just say they are not keeping me as a customer. They are so unprofessional.
Check in instructions were miss leading to say the least a code for lock box was supposed to be sent 30mins before arrival by SMS no such text was sent but when texting the support number the response was not prompt 30mins went by before I actually rang the number to get the keys they weren’t very pleased to help they stated i needed to check my email, the code was sent there. When entering the accommodation the flat was neat and clean but was extremely hot inside. If I was expecting guest to arrive in 31 degree heat I would’ve left the aircon on so my guest would arrive in a nice cool environment. Needless to say the first thing I did was reach for the aircon remote which was not working. Extra batteries were not available anywhere in the flat. Tried to take some from other remotes but they were flat also or that remote was also broken who knew at this point. Rang support number Air keeper’s idea of trouble shooting was customer blame, asked me if I had the right remote even went so far to ask me to take a picture of the remote and email it to Airkeeper to make sure I had the right remote, asked me to check the fuse box I said all was in working order again asked me to take a picture. Kept me on hold or would hang up with a promise to call back, no such promise was kept 3 hours later I was sweating and uncertain weather to unpack cause I had no desire to stay if aircon was not working. I rang back fuming and asked for a refund I was already looking at other accommodations airkeeper agreeded to send someone over to try changing the batteries that decision took 3 hours pfft.
