About this cabin rental
It doesn't get anymore "Alaskan" than this! A rustic log cabin on a bushplane runway & lake. Watch airplanes take off and land right from the living room window! You'll get the full Alaskan experience, yet only minutes from town and all the local attractions.
Rustic charm loaded with amenities: Wi-Fi, 55" Roku HDTV, granite countertops, high-end cookware, bath products and bedding. The cabin is furnished with handcrafted log furniture made by our family, with natural finishes throughout. A deck facing the water, fire pit, barbecue, snowshoes and sleds are available for your use during the winter. In summer we keep some bikes, infant life vest & fishing poles stocked in the shed for guest use. Upstairs loft-style bedroom is spacious and open to the rest of the cabin with an attached bath. The entire space is bright, open and airy, with views of the lake and Chena Hills beckoning you outside.

Beautiful property. Very thoughtful host. Has all you need and more. No hair dryer. In the Harry Potter Cabin the shower is odd, not tall enough for most. They do have a public shower in the lodge though, we did not use it. Did not see any animals anywhere around the cabin. Was happy and sad about that. LOL. The cabin was stocked with what you would need as far as dishes, pans, etc. Extra towels would have been nice. All in all a peaceful place to stay, affordable, little on the small size for four people, only two chairs in the living room area, but we were not there much.

The place was great very peaceful beautiful loved that you would see airplanes on the water taking off or landing. The rooms are very clean. The kitchen had everything that we needed and more including the washer dryer area. The check-in was easy and the directions were perfect very happy to stay at that cabin.
