Le camping est accessible à pied depuis le centre-ville de Vérone, ce qui est vraiment très agréable. C’est une bonne adresse pour passer une ou deux nuits et découvrir Vérone rapidement, sans avoir besoin de reprendre la voiture.
Trois mois avant notre arrivée, avant de réserver, j’avais demandé si les chiens étaient acceptés, et on m’avait répondu que oui. Quatre heures seulement avant notre arrivée à l’hôtel, je reçois finalement un message m’informant que les chiens ne sont pas acceptés.
Après plusieurs échanges par téléphone et par messages, et en leur montrant la capture d’écran de leur propre réponse confirmant que les chiens étaient autorisés, ils ont finalement accepté de nous laisser accéder à la chambre avec notre chien, en nous précisant qu’un supplément serait appliqué.
Même si le supplément est bien prévu dans les conditions générales de l’établissement, j’aurais trouvé plus correct qu’ils me l’indiquent dès le moment où j’ai posé la question, avant même de réserver. Et rien que pour le stress qu’ils nous ont fait subir sur la route, en nous annonçant à seulement quatre heures de l’arrivée que notre chien n’était finalement pas accepté, j’aurais apprécié qu’ils fassent au moins un geste commercial.

It's a camping in a 18 century citadel, above the old town of Verona, walking down to the city is a wonderful excursion itself. The rooms are very different, I thing we were accomodated in a former bar, which was a former weapon storage, which was a former guard's room. I you like surreal settings with style, this is your place.

The camp site is close to Verona city centre, walking distance 15 minutes. We booked the Stars Box, a wooden crate on stilts with a mattress, impeccable bed linen and pillows. Also comes with a socket if you bring a fan or need to charge your mobile. Roof can be opened, so sleep tight under the stars!
There are steep slopes and steps to be managed, so unsuitable for those with mobility problems.

C’è stata difficoltà a raggiungere la stanza dopo aver effettuato il check in chi mi ha accompagnato ha inutilmente tentato di aprire la porta sbagliata e con bagagli al seguito mi sono fatto rampa e scalinata 3 volte. Al momento del check out mi è stato chiesto di pagare la notte abbastanza seccante visto che avevo già pagato e dovendo dimostrare io di aver effettuato il pagamento.
