Marie Claude & Frederic made us feel so welcomed when we arrived at Le Chateau de Mesnil 1916, what fantastic hosts they are. We visited the region to learn more of it's history & we were so grateful to receive bucket loads of information from our very knowledgeable hosts. The Chateau itself retains a lot of history & is an excellent base for visiting the war graves of the great war 1914 - 1918. The Thiepval Commonwealth war memorial can be seen from the Chateau.
Thank you Marie Claude & Frederic for feeding us so much information and being such excellent hosts.
There were so many wonderful memories of the Chateau, it was a perfect stay for us & there was absolutely nothing we didn't like.
We would love to come back sometime in the future.

Everything about the property was superb its location close to Albert
And the famous battle sites. The property was immaculate and comfortable and the hosts were very friendly and caring

**A truly wonderful stay with exceptional hosts**
We had a fantastic stay and could not have wished for better hosts. Marie Claude and Frédéric were incredibly kind, welcoming and genuinely interested in making our stay special.
We were a group of eight and had arranged wine, local cheese, charcuterie and bread for our arrival, at a very fair price. What followed was a wonderful and very memorable evening. Marie Claude and Frédéric joined us and enthusiastically shared the story of their beautiful house and the renovation they have undertaken. Their passion and pride for the place really made the evening special.
The following morning, we were treated to a beautiful breakfast, which was the perfect ending to our stay.
A truly charming place with wonderful hosts and a very personal atmosphere. We would give Marie Claude and Frédéric our very best recommendations and would happily stay here again.
