The rooms had good space with calm interiors and the beds high and comfortable. Felt like royalty. From as soon as our taxi pulled up we were greeted by a friendly face, Nirosh looked after us our whole stay. It really is these touches which make you enjoy everything. We ate at the restaurant, would recommend, I’ve eaten at a few restaurants in the area and this was the best one.

Beautiful, 400 year old building. Very large room with old-fashioned fixtures and furnishings. Very clean. Great bathroom. Very comfortable extra large bed. Excellent location in a quiet street in the middle of Galle fort..
The air-conditioner which was absolutely needed in Galle blew directly onto the bed. It was a bit uncomfortable.
