The room was extremely clean, and by Indian standards, the bathroom and plumbing were among the cleanest I’ve seen. Of course, there were no bugs at all. It’s genuinely a great hotel. The tap water was odorless, and hot water came out with zero issues. Since there were two air conditioners in the room, we stayed completely comfortable even in the scorching heat of Varanasi’s monsoon season.
Above all, the owner was incredibly kind and efficient at his job. He went out of his way to book our bus to Nepal for free, gave us plenty of great local recommendations, and was just a truly wonderful host. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes by rickshaw to get to the main spots in Varanasi, but the hotel itself is away from the hustle and bustle in an area with lots of nice, clean buildings, which was a huge plus.
I highly recommend this place to any Japanese travelers coming to Varanasi. The front desk is always staffed by two smart, handsome brothers who carry themselves like total gentlemen. When we accidentally left something behind, they made sure it was safely returned to us—their hospitality is truly outstanding. The level of cleanliness is so high that any Japanese traveler would feel completely comfortable staying here. By the way, it’s a very new hotel that was recently started by these two brothers, aged 27 and 24.

We did not book the breakfast. They arranged food from outside. Overall experience was good. The staff was courteous. Service was good.
