It was a lovely cottage that was a home from home - ideally situated to be a few minutes from everything we wanted to do. A lovely bath to soak in too! Excellent communication from owner too

Home away from home ! Property was spotless clean everything you need for a self catering break .. lovely kitchen, large table to host all
The family for meals and games! the outside courtyard was an added bonus .. five min walk to seafront and perfect location location. Bedrooms very comfy and two bathrooms which were great.

Great location just a 5 minute walk to south bay. Clear easy instruction for access, parking etc. Spacious welcoming house with plenty of amenities. Comfortable beds, bedding and towels. Reasonable check In/out timings. Great value for money.
Just a few cleanliness issues. Found sock, loose crisps in a drawer, minor rubbish found in first room. Couple of infrastructure issues with a loose tap, shower door and shower head in bathroom and kitchen tap plumbed in wrong.

The location was great
The bed linen and towels were good
Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our stay.
The front door opens directly onto the road, and unfortunately the door lock was faulty and did not open easily. This was particularly concerning when standing on the road trying to gain access, especially with a dog who could potentially run into the road while we were struggling with the lock. We feel this is a significant safety issue that should be addressed.
The cleanliness of the accommodation was also below the standard we would expect. The shower cubicle had not been cleaned properly, and there was a noticeable black build-up around the plug in the sink in the main bathroom. There was also debris underneath the sofas.
A few basic items were also missing, including a hand towel in the downstairs toilet and a tea towel in the kitchen.
We were also concerned by a message from the hosts which stated: “Leave the apartment as you found it. We hire the linen and towels for you so we will simply strip the beds and return them to our partner and put fresh linen on for the next guests.” This gave us the impression that, aside from changing the bed linen and towels, there may not be a thorough clean carried out between guests, which would explain some of the issues we encountered.
Overall, we were disappointed with the standard of cleanliness, the condition of the door lock and the lack of some basic amenities. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not recommend this accommodation and would not choose to stay here again.
