This place had a lot to live up to, we were travelling back from Scotland having stayed in an actual tower, not terribly happy to be heading home to our overcrowded town this was our stopover night.
The only thing we regretted was the fact that we only had one night staying at this very special place. Managed to park right outside was the first bonus, the second was the beyond generous welcome pack, something we hadn't expected with it being only a one night stay. The canal was obviously the real jewel in the crown but the house was super comfortable and interesting, as well as very well equipped and we had a super night's sleep.
Pub opposite and also one next door, no noise at all despite it being a Saturday and glorious weather.
Highly recommend.

Lovely location, literally on the canal. Easy parking, very clean, easy access to property, great communication, lovely welcome basket, great local information in a welcome book along with leaflets.
