The Hideaway really was hidden away, was a great little escape. We were lucky that we had the car with us, as it’s quite a distance to walk to the main park area with the restaurant, shop, etc. so it is worth bearing in mind with all the walking that would be needed, and all the hills to climb. But couldn’t fault it in any way in particular.

The only thing we had an issue with, was the amount of dust we had in the pod. It wasn’t necessarily dirty per se, but the amount of dust was shocking! When we first arrived we noticed little bits, so we wiped them ourselves, like shelves, worktops etc, then that night we noticed the blinds had thick layer of dust and we thought it was maybe difficult to clean, and when we took a dry cloth to wipe one of the slates, its wiped off with no issues. By the time we noticed how dusty the place truly was, we only had a day left as we were just there for the weekend, so there was no point in asking the cleaners to come back. As I say, it was just so dusty, not dirty. There were a few repairs needing looked at, a shelf in the living room and the shower tray, but these have been fed back to the park staff.
