Everything! The lodge consists of individual tiny adobes. It was super quiet, beautiful narural landscape. Several places to sit and enjoy the view, or have a picnic. The staff was awesome. Its a great place to star gaze. In fact, I saw a shooting star. It was the first one I've seen in probably thirty years. The houses are all handicap accessible. And they are very clean and well maintained. There is also two people on site to attend to any needs you might have. Plus, they are pet friendly with no extra cost, or deposit. We ended up staying two extra days. It's very close to Truth or Consequences which has several good places to eat. If you like Mexican food, Tony's was wonderful. Also, Johnny B's was very good. Downtown Truth or Consequences also has an art studio featuring local artists. And if you prefer kind of an art/junk type of studio, they have a few of those too. T or C is just a few miles away, probably about ten. I would definitely recommend the lodge to a friend.
It was perfect!
