The host, Sarah, was extremely friendly, welcoming, and very professional in her communication.
The location is excellent, very close to the main festival and event areas, which made getting around on foot very convenient.
The apartment looks exactly like the photos, and everything was clearly presented in the listing. It is located on the second floor. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and the high ceilings give the apartment a lovely sense of space.
The furniture is modern, clean, stylish, and well coordinated. The kitchen is also fully equipped with everything you may need during your stay.
The entrance to the building is located directly beside a bus stop, which can make getting in and out a little confusing, especially when carrying luggage.
The building entrance itself is not very clean, and there is an unpleasant smell in the common area that occasionally reaches the apartment.
There are several restaurants directly below the apartment, so cooking smells can sometimes enter through the windows, especially when they are open.
The staircase is not particularly narrow, but carrying two suitcases up at the same time would be difficult. There is also no lift.
The living room is quite small compared with the size of the bedrooms and, in my opinion, is comfortably suitable for only two people.
The bathroom is below the overall standard of the apartment and bedrooms and could benefit from some improvement.

There is no elevator as most buildings at old town as this will make it a little difficult to transfer luggage

Good location. Spacious. Clean. Easy access to all restaurants and transportation.
It could have been my fault, but I didn't realize we had to walk up two flights of stairs on a spiral staircase. And, we had some undiserables who hung out in front of our apartment every night. We thought it was funny, but some might find it irritating.

The Celtic Apt is located very close (literally 5 minutes) from the Royal Mile and close to most other attractions in Edinburgh. It is spacious and well laid out. The kitchen was fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, gas stove, fridge, freezer, washing machine etc as well as bottled water and sachets for tea, coffee etc.
The rooms are spacious and the beds were comfortable with fresh linen/ towels etc.
The communication with the host(ess) Sarah was very useful with clear directions on how to access the apartment, where things are kept, do's and dont's etc and she was also happy to answer questions whenever asked.
The climb up the stairs to the 2nd floor was a bit challenging with luggage (we had 5 bags) but even so, living in the apartment was worth the effort :)
