Situated in Edinburgh, this lovely condo for $371 per night is a great choice for your next break. We are delighted to offer this luxury self-catering holiday apartment situated in the heart of Edinburgh's famous Royal Mile, close to St Giles Cathedral and Edinburgh Castle. It offers ideal holiday accommodation for a short break in the very heart of Edinburgh. The apartment is on the third floor, with large windows overlooking the pedestrian precinct area of the Royal Mile. The sittingroom has comfortable, built-in window seats, where guests can sit and watch the ever changing bustle of the Royal Mile below. The sitting / dining / kitchen area is open-plan. The comfortable sitting area has a digital television with Freeview, DVD player and a CD / radio with an iPod dock. The fully fitted and well equipped kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, iron and microwave. There is a large dining table that can seat up to eight guests. Wireless Internet broadband is provided for use with your own laptop, tablet or smart phone. The sleeping accommodation comprises two bedrooms: one double to the rear of the apartment and one twin with secondary glazing to the front. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. The apartment is tastefully furnished with quality furniture that matches the attractive wood finish of the apartment. Full bedding and towels are provided. The property has full gas central heating. The owners provide a complimentary welcome basket containing fruit juice, coffee, tea, sugar, milk and biscuits.

We stumbled across this listing without a clue of the events surrounding NYE. We knew this was close to old town city center but it was the absolute best place we could have ever imagined! The beds and the coziness of the flat were the best accommodation we had thus far on our adventure!

Wonderful place to stay to enjoy all of the old town. Very clean and well appointed. We loved the beautiful architecture of the apartment and building. We found the location excellent to explore and convenient to everything we wanted to see and do. We enjoyed hearing the bagpipe players and a guitar player each night from the apartment. Would definitely stay again when we return.

Everything about the place was quite nice. The owner was very attentive to questions and a great help. We couldn’t ask for better customer service. I turned 77 during our stay and my wife is 72. The spiral staircase to this third floor apartment was a rough go especially with luggage. Every evening there were buskers on the street outside until 9:00-10:00 pm that were sometimes insufferable. From what I understand, the local authorities were in the process of taking steps to curb the later so that may be improving in the near future. We had a nice time.

We loved our time in this flat. The location was central to nearly everything we did in Edinburgh. The flat is exactly as pictured, but perhaps even more spacious. The bedrooms were comfortable and had lots of closet space and some dresser space for clothing storage which was wonderful. Derek was very easy to reach and was able to offer an early check-in which was much appreciated. I highly recommend this flat for your Edinburgh vacation!

This flat was exactly what we'd hoped it would be. Directly in the middle of the Royal Mile, no car needed at all. We were able to watch street performers from our windows, and were directly above numerous restaurants. Very much enjoyed the apartment, the check in and communication with the host were great. Will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay for two nights at this rustic and very comfortable apartment. It is the ideal location at the top of the Royal mile. The owners were so kind and had it ready a little early because our flight came in just before the normal check in time. I definitely recommend this lovely gem!

The property was beautiful, exactly as described. It was an easy walk from Waverly station and Derek was kind enough to provide the key code prior to our arrival. Getting inside was seamless and the location was well marked. We were able to wander all over Old and New Town knowing we had a comfortable spot to come back to. The flat was clean, well lit, and had everything we needed (including a container of milk in the fridge - thanks for that!). The laundry in particular was wonderful after hiking the Speyside Way. We made good use of the washer and the drying racks provided.

Overlooking the Royal Mile and close to Waverley Station, this apartment is ideally located and despite our stay being at the height of the Fringe Festival we were not disturbed by any noise once we closed the shutters. We loved sitting in the window seats watching street performers and the people passing by below. Beds were comfy, everything was spotless.. and complimentary tea and coffee, and milk and orange juice in the fridge was very welcome. The apartment has everything you might need. Communication with the owner was simple and promptly responded to.

We have not a single complaint about our stay here - perfect location, wonderful amenities, comfortable beds, easy in-out, fantastic communication with owner, beautiful little home. We absolutely loved staying here. Highly, highly recommend - with only one caveat: Be sure you are able to carry your suitcase up, and back down, two flights of stairs. That is all. We stayed here for Fringe and it was not noisy after 10PM. With a noisemaker or earplugs the noise at any time day or night is not a problem at all- and I'm a very light sleeper. We not only would stay here again - we *hope* to stay here again!! No more perfect place to stay in Edinburgh.

This property is in the heart of Edinburgh and the views of street life are spectacular. After climbing 3 flights on a spiral staircase to our room, we were not disappointed. The rooms were spacious, owner instructions were clear, the bath was wonderful, and the windows could be double sealed to block out sunlight and street noise. The cooing of nested pigeons and the creaking of wooden floors at night offered an insight into the historical quality of this old but delightful structure.

What an outstanding place! It’s ideally located and we were able to walk everywhere. The flat itself is absolutely charming, well-stocked, and very comfortable. Our host was helpful, responsive, and kind. We honestly could not have asked for a better spot. My family didn’t want to leave.

The apartment was in a great location, right on High Street. It was super clean, and Derek went out of his way to assist with an early check in. Super charming place. Our favorite feature were the window seats overlooking High St. that offered a great place to people watch. One thing to note about the rental is that it is right in the heart of Edinburgh, so it is loud at night. Even with ear plugs we heard people partying late into the night well past midnight. Obviously, nothing the owner can do about this, but if you’re a light sleeper you should know about the noise. Still, we’d stay there again because the apartment is lovely and the location can’t be beat.

We planned a short trip to Edinburgh during our visit to London. This unit was a short walk from the train station, the Edinburgh castle, University of Edinburgh and the National Museum and lots of good restaurants. We were able to see it all and rest in between too!

This is a great flat in a great location. Beds were comfy. Bedrooms are in opposite sides of the flat so there is ample privacy. There are a lot of stairs(spiral) to get in. It’s pretty high up and we enjoyed listening to all the goings on down on the street and people watching. Great stay!

We had an absolute blast at this flat. Couldn’t have been better! The location was fantastic and right in the middle of everything in Old Town (where all the fun is) and the sounds from the street added to the experience. The music from below was magical when the windows were open. I highly recommend this flat and it’s owners. They have everything you need for a perfect vacation. If we ever make it back to Edinburgh we would definitely stay here again.

Loved this apartment. Fantastic location exactly as listed! As soon as we opened the door to the apartment I felt at home 💕 and want to move in. I loved the quirky coffee mugs. This apartment would be a great place for two couples or a family of four. We stayed here for the May holiday weekend. Great holiday vibe, but front bedroom that faces High Street could be noisy for some. Don’t remember reading about the stairs to this apartment but was good for a laugh at the time…should have packed a lighter suitcase. The apartment is absolutely beautiful, wonderful character and charm combined with modern amenities. The location is great for all of the sights, tons of pubs and restaurants right outside the front door, and still very quiet at night. Perfect!

This apartment is centrally located on the royal mile, easily walkable to many attractions, shops, and restaurants. The apartment is very comfortable with everything you would need for a short or long stay. Being centrally located there is some noise, but the main bedroom is located away from the street and we never had any problem sleeping at night. Great people watching from the window seats too!

The location was the absolute best. Close to everything including pickup spots for every tour we took. We never walked more than 5 minutes to get to the departure point.
The flat was spotless and Derek was a great host.
Close to several great restaurants and lots of shopping.
The only negative was the spiral stairs up to the third floor. Nothing at all wrong with them but you will get your exercise. And we were advised before we reserved the place so it wasn't a secret. We had 3 of us over 60 and we survived. Overall, it was perfect.

Perfect location! Right on the Royal Mile where we could walk to the castle, cathedral, and so many shops. Apartment is clean and comfortable and is tastefully decorated to match it's amazing location. One does need to climb 3 flights of narrow stairs to get to the apartment. We loved our stay!

My son and I had a great visit at this charming and historic flat. It is very spacious with a great view over the Royal Mile. We could hear bagpipes during the day and everything we wanted to see in the city was within walking distance. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

We have just come home from an amazing stay at this apartment. Firstly, it is absolutely beautiful! Really spacious, each room is decorated to a high standard and really lovely. The beds are so comfy! We had everything we could possibly need for our stay, and we really appreciated the extra little touches such as the tea, coffee, shortbread and fudge.
This property is as central as you can get, right on Royal Mile. Everything we wanted to do was within easy walking distance and restaurants and cosy pubs are literally on the doorstep.
Derek was really quick to respond to messages and really helpful. We also appreciated the notice board of recommendations of restaurants and attractions to visit, and we enjoyed having a read through the guest book where people had also added their own, and we added a couple too!
We would absolutely 100% recommend this property to anyone visiting Edinburgh and it’s the only place we would want to stay!

We loved the property which was exactly as the pictures indicated, if not better! It was warm and cozy with good light. The kitchen is very well appointed. The apartment was clean, and the location perfect! Our only critique is that the wooden floors are quite squeaky and loud. In addition, given the location right on High Street, it got loud some nights with people shouting on the street until late into the night. The quaint red phone booths outside are a tourist attraction, so again some loud conversations right outside. Despite these last two comments, we would definitely recommend this property, understanding that being in the heart of old town comes with some noise.

This flat exceeded our expectations. The location right on the Royal Mile can't be beat. The interior is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Our favorite feature was the window seats, which offered great views of all the action on the Royal Mile. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was exceptionally well-outfitted, with just about anything needed to prepare meals during your stay. The water pressure was phenomenal, which is always a plus when you want a nice hot shower after a day of sightseeing. Derek made the check-in process very easy and even provided us with milk, orange juice, shortbread biscuits, and tea, which was much appreciated. We highly recommend this flat, and we hope to return someday soon.
