La habitación es increíble, super moderna, limpia, muy muy amplia, y como no, SUS VISTAS desde el baño como las de la habitación son INCREIBLES; desayunas además ahí con el sonido de los pajaros y plantaciones de te y es ídilico. Además es un desayuno abundante y local tipico de ahí. Además tuvimos un pequeño problema porque nos equivamos con una noche, y los dueños, que son una familia no tuvieron ningun problema en entendernos y cambiarnos la noche! son MUY AMABLES!
Nosotros fuimos en coche y no hubo problema ya que podías aparcar dentro de la cabaña, pero si no tienes un coche, está bastante lejos del centro. (no obstante, tienes restaurantes com en la carretera con vistas muy bonitas y se cena de 10 con buena cerveza y unas vistas espectaculares a la naturaleza), PERO, necesitas coches SI O SI.
También, mejoraría la entrada con el coche, ya que al entrar o salir, das con los bajos del coche y lo puedes estropear.

Liora Lodge was without a doubt the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka. The lodge itself is beautiful, built with so much care and taste, using materials that feel warm and high quality throughout.
The breakfast was another highlight, full of local Sri Lankan dishes, and Tharindu always checked in with us to ask if we liked what we’d had, and whether we wanted to swap anything out or add something different the next day. That kind of attention to detail says a lot about how much he cares about his guests.
But what really made the stay was Tharindu himself. We’ve traveled to a lot of places and stayed with a lot of hosts, and honestly none of them come close. He was there for us at every step, always thoughtful, always willing to help with anything we needed, even checking in on us after we’d left to make sure we’d arrived safely at our next stop.
If you’re thinking about visiting Ella, stay here. You won’t regret it, and the moment we’re back in Sri Lanka, Liora Lodge is where we’re going first.

We had an absolutely perfect stay at this new lodge in Ella. The lodge is run by a wonderful family who made us feel welcome from the very beginning.
The room was even better than we expected and matched the listing perfectly. Everything was spotlessly clean and worked perfectly. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, and the view from the terrace was beautiful.
What really made our stay special and memorable, though, was the family running the lodge. They were incredibly kind and welcoming, and their little boy, who we jokingly called the “manager” of the lodge, was absolutely adorable and made the experience even more enjoyable!
The location is also ideal: the lodge is in a quiet area of Ella, while still being close and easily accessible to the town centre. It’s the perfect combination of peace and convenience.
We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!
