Overall, the stay was very enjoyable. The room was comfortable, brand new, and spotless. Having a large TV with Netflix was a great bonus and made the evening especially relaxing. The property is quiet and peaceful, which made it easy to unwind.
I had an unpleasant experience with one of the security guards when I arrived around 7 p.m. He was carrying a shotgun and initially refused to let me enter, claiming the guest list had not been updated. The situation felt unnecessarily tense, and instead of resolving it calmly, he became argumentative and suggested I had expressed myself incorrectly (even though he was mistaken). He tried to intimidate me, and my arrival could have been handled in a much more professional and courteous way. That said, the next day there was another security guard who was friendly and welcoming, which made a big difference.
