About this cottage rental
Spacious one bedroom home with large deck and hot tub right on the river. Newly renovated inside and out! Everything has been recently upgraded, from the floors to the appliances. Open concept kitchen/living room with oversized windows for full views of the river from every space and a cozy fireplace. This property is particularly special because of how the deck is positioned over the river, along with bedroom views of the iconic Rio Vista bridge! Watch ships cruise up and down the Delta while enjoying stunning sunrises with a cup of coffee from the comfortable deck furniture or a cocktail in the hot tub during sunset. The new couch also folds into a queen memory foam mattress. In unit washer/dryer included. Close to downtown. Under a five minute drive from downtown restaurants and shops.

You Won't Want to Leave. This is a unique property, few of which exist on the Sacramento River in the Delta area. It sits right on the banks of the river, with the water immediately in front of you. The sunrises from across the river, with geese, sea lions (yes, there is a group that essentially lives at the Rio Vista bridge, just downstream from the house), the occasional otter, and all kinds of other birds - herons, egrets, swallows, all flying up and down the river, right off your own private deck. The house itself, as per the photos, has huge view windows, new floors, appliances and paint. Very serene and tastefully done, in short. There are not many properties for rent in the Delta like this. Most are on top of a levee, set back at a distance from the water, and none of those of 5 minutes from downtown Rio Vista (check out Lucy's and Haps Taps) and 15 minutes from Isleton (check out Memos, Manny's and Peter's Steakhouse).

We were looking forward to a break from the day-to-day stress. The cottage was perfect. It had everything we needed and the view was amazing. We definitely plan to stay here again!
