The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals, from a coffee maker to a waffle iron. Gather around the dining area with extra pillows and blankets for a cozy meal, or step out onto the deck or patio to savor the river view while dining al fresco.
Unwind in the living room with Netflix streaming on the TV, or challenge each other to board games for a fun-filled evening. The central AC ensures comfort year-round, while the electric fireplace adds warmth and ambiance.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! We chose it as a base for exploring nearby state parks, and it was a perfect fit. The house itself is nicely updated with a great view, and having access to laundry facilities was a bonus we really appreciated.We did run into an issue with the hot tub, but the host and property management team responded quickly and handled it with care, which actually gave us even more confidence in recommending this place. When something goes wrong and it’s handled well.Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience! This is a great house - beautiful, well maintained, clean, comfortable, with plenty of room to relax. Love the hot tub. The area is quiet and peaceful, and we love that there are so many great hiking opportunites in the area. We will absolutely stay here again!

The house was in like new condition. It was clean. It was stocked with plenty of towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, paper products and most if not all kitchen supplies, plates, utensils spices, oils, pans, etc. needed to cook daily meals.TV and Wi-Fi worked well with no issues during our stay.Beds were comfortable as well as the furniture in living rooms. The location of the house is very tranquil and relaxing and surrounded by the natural beauty of the forest, a great view of the Mississippi River and complete with twice daily visits by several deer. There are several great places to visit within a half hour's drive for excellent hiking: Wyalusing State Park, Effigy Mounds National Monument.A half hour drive is Prairie Du Chien which offers 2 retail grocers (Aldi and Piggley Wiggly), Walmart, a few restaurants, coffee shops and Dunkin, etc. to name a few.Keyless entry was a bit confusing. Directions were not clear enough on how to operate the lock in the nicely prepared notebook of the workings of the house, appliances, etc., but a quick visit to University of YouTube rectified that in no time. Definitely not a deal breaker by any means.We had a wonderful relaxing visit and look forward to returning again in the future.
