Welcome to a cozy A-frame cabin in Agate Bay, one of Carnelian Bay’s quiet residential neighborhoods on North Lake Tahoe. Set among towering pines, this 3-bedroom, 2-bath retreat pairs classic mountain character with the comforts guests want most: a private hot tub, gas fireplace, large decks, forest views, smart TVs, and an easy location near the lake, Tahoe City, Northstar, and Palisades Tahoe.
The home is designed for families, couples, and small groups who want a relaxed Tahoe basecamp with room to gather, cook, unwind, and settle in.
The Home
This 1,352-square-foot A-frame has a practical two-level layout.
The main level includes the living room, dining area, kitchen, laundry room, full bathroom, and a bedroom with two twin beds. From this level, guests can access the back deck, hot tub, and yard.
Upstairs, the primary bedroom has a king bed, warm wood-lined ceilings, forest views, and a peaceful mountain feel. The second upstairs bedroom includes one queen bed, one twin bed, and access to a private balcony. A full bathroom serves both upstairs bedrooms.
Sleeping Setup
The cabin sleeps up to 7 guests across three bedrooms.
Primary bedroom: king bed, forest views, smart TV, clothing storage, memory foam mattress, and extra pillows and blankets.

You’ll be about one mile from Lake Tahoe and a short drive to Gar Woods, Carnelian Bay Beach, Tahoe Waterman’s Landing, Tahoe City, grocery stores, restaurants, and shops.
Northstar and Palisades Tahoe are typically about 20–30 minutes away, depending on traffic, weather, and road conditions.

This home is in a wooded mountain setting, and wildlife may be present. Please lock vehicles, keep food and coolers indoors, and use the bear bin for all trash. The home is equipped with electric bear wires on the front door and windows. We recommend keeping them activated overnight and whenever you are away from the property.

Winter guests should check road conditions before arrival. 4WD/AWD and carrying chains are highly recommended during winter weather. Driveways, walkways, decks, and stairs may be icy when snow or freezing temperatures are present.
