We stayed at Surfing Elephant for a night and left wishing we'd booked longer. The location is unbeatable just steps from Polhena Beach with Mirissa an easy ride away for when you want a change of wave. The whole place has this laid-back energy surfers, remote workers and wanderers all mixing over breakfast which made it easy to meet people even as solo travelers.
Rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were genuinely helpful giving tips on where the swell was best that day and pointing us to a couple of excellent local spots to eat. The on-site cafe/restaurant covered us on mornings when we didn't feel like heading out.
If you want a friendly, ocean-side base with a real sense of community and easy access to some of the south coast's best breaks, Surfing Elephant delivers. We'd absolutely come back.

Surfing Elephant Resort is amazing! The location is perfect, and the place is clean, modern, and newly built. The staff are incredibly attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to visit again!
