Very close to the metro station Aldgate East. Easy to get the keys. Good communication with the landlord. Clean and good price, if you don't have such high standards. Good breakfast places, supermarket and even optician close by.
It was as expected. Lots of stairs, shared bathroom one story down, air conditioning noise from outside but we expected that at the price and location so it was okay for us.

Super bien situé, juste à côté du métro, il y a des restos, des snacks et des minimarket. Idéal juste pour dormir.
Le frigo est bien pratique, gel douche et papier-toilette en suffisance.
Les hôtes n'étaient pas présents mais étaient très réactifs à nos messages/questions en plus d'être courtois.
Apparition de petites tâches d'humidité dans la douche. Il y avait un micro-ondes sur certaines photos mais pas dans notre chambre. Donc, pas possible de réchauffer un plat. Il manque aussi une petite table (les deux chaises seules ne servent à rien), et une bouloir pour chauffer l'eau qui va avec les sachets de café et de thés présents sur le frigo.

Dieses Hostel ist tatsächlich besser als die Bewertungen vermuten lassen. Ich habe rechtzeitig vorher den Schlüsselcode bekommen und das Ganze hat reibungslos geklappt- nur hieß das Ganze auf einmal “Pink Door Guesthouse”. Ja der Innenhof ist auf den ersten Blick etwas abschreckend, aber die Leute sind absolut harmlos und haben sogar beim Finden der Schlüsselbox geholfen 😉. Einmal drinnen haben wir uns wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war recht klein und der Fernseher funktionierte nicht, aber die Betten waren riesig und bequem.
Auch die Dusche funktionierte einwandfrei und wir kamen uns im Bad nicht in die Quere.
Das Viertel fand ich toll- es gab soviele gute und günstige Essensangebote (Indisch, Sushi, Türkisch, Pizza….) und die Bäckerei unten ist mega fürs Frühstück morgens. Zudem ist ein Supermarkt ganz nah dran.
Am besten ist aber- nur ein paar Schritte und man fällt in die Tube Station Aldgate East und früh morgens kann man die Liverpool Street Station in 15 min zu Fuß erreichen, um den Stansted Express um 4:10 Uhr zu erreichen
Es müsste ein wenig renoviert werden, einiges war kaputt. Wir hatten zwar einen Wasserkocher aber keine Tassen.
Wenn das Tor zum Innenhof geschlossen gehalten werden würde, dann wäre auch die Junkie und Urin-Problematik behoben
