The property next door has a DJ on until 0200 on Friday and Saturday, this was very loud.

- Great location, literally on the beach - it can't get better than this. Excellent sea view. It was also surprisingly calm, no loud parties to be heard as the walls are thick, only the sound of the waves. Relaxing.
- Breakfast was varied and just enough portion wise. They made us coconut pancakes on request - superb!
- The staff are the friendliest. Chamidu the supervisor will serve you delicious food and accommodate your requests.
- Overall probably the best property to stay in for the price paid in town - their pricing varies a lot but if you snatch a good deal it's unbeatable.
- As you're on the beach your feet are full of sand when you enter the room but cleaning was not an issue on request.
- Jungle beach isn't too far either, probably a 25 minute walk in the shade. We were happy not to book something up the hills as wouldn't have fancied the walk to the main beach.
- Freshly renovated rooms. Mosquito net around the bed as it should (most rooms have this but might be worth confirming with the property in advance).
- The lack of hot water is not noticeable as the water that comes out of the shower is rather warm so it's not really a negative unless that's your thing.
- Aircon worked great - the ceiling fan was unfortunately not functioning. We had a power cut for a day but this is apparently common in the area. (No generator but this was not an issue for us.)
