NOTHING AT ALL. AVOID AT ALL COSTS PROPERTY HOST IS DISHONEST AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

AVOID AT ALL COST. Where do I start? I booked this place last minute as I was working in the area. I arrived at 19:55 and immediately noticed that the property was nothing like the photographs. There were stains all over the carpets, dirty cleaning sponges left lying around, and the bathtub was wet, as though it hadn’t been cleaned, with loose hairs still inside. As if that wasn’t bad enough, there were empty shampoo and soap bottles left lying around, along with used toilet rolls that had only one piece of tissue remaining. Despite all these issues, as I had booked last minute, I decided to give the host the benefit of the doubt. However, things took a more serious turn when I noticed that the smoke alarm was missing from the kitchen ceiling. This is a direct safety risk, especially as the property was advertised as having smoke alarms. I contacted Booking.com at 20:15, just 20 minutes after entering the property to report these issues and requested that they either arrange a refund or provide a suitable solution to the problems I had encountered. I then left the property as I had been called into work. At 21:05, I received a message from the host stating, “I am coming to the property,” without any indication of what time she would arrive or how long she intended to stay. This lack of communication was concerning, especially given the condition of the property and the safety issues I had already reported. When I returned to the property the following day, after finishing work, I was unable to gain access. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience, with serious concerns about cleanliness, safety, communication and the way the situation was handled. I contacted Booking.com seeking either a refund or a reasonable solution, yet the situation remained unresolved. The Host knows what she’s doing BE CAREFUL.

Location is perfect for city walking. Price was good for value, all the facilities are clean and pretty. The host kept me updated well and also compensated us from a boiler issue
