Location and the place itself! On the top of Paris! It couldn’t have felt more Parisian.

Die hervorragende Lage, der megatolle Blick und die supernette Kommunikation mit Benjamin haben die etwas in die Jahre gekommene Wohnung wettgemacht! Die Ausstattung war sehr gut, die Betten sehr angenehm, der Tisch war liebevoll gedeckt, alles war da. Der Aufenthalt hier mit Blick auf (glitzernden) Eiffelturm und Sacre Cœur bei Sonnenuntergang und nächtlichem Gewitter war außergewöhnlich und wird uns in Erinnerung bleiben!
Die Grundsubstanz der Wohnung ist halt schon älter und etwas muffig, die Treppe unters Dach, wie von anderen schon beschrieben, etwas wackelig.

- very good location for easy access to the main points of interest
- amenities (soap, Nespresso coffee, toilet paper, detergent, etc.) for periods longer than 3-5 days
- view from the small terrace over the city
- elevator access to the 6th floor
- toilet (WC) separate from the bathroom with shower.
- 2 fans (but air conditioning would be preferable).
Useful info: Access to the apartment is from the 6th floor, through a small hallway from where you access the bedroom, the bathroom with shower, toilet (WC) and the spiral staircase leading to the attic (7th floor) where the kitchen, dining area and access to the terrace where the second bedroom is improvised.
- the windows are completely outdated and do not offer any insulation (neither thermal nor acoustic).
- they could insist more on cleaning and it would even be recommended to remove the mold stains from the walls and repair those areas.
- in the summer it is impossible to sleep in the improvised bedroom on the closed terrace, and the polycarbonate/plastic roof is a radiator (it is preferable to sleep in the area with the mattress/futon!)
- the bathroom with the shower cabin is practically part of the bedroom because the separation is not quite total (up to the ceiling), and the steam will enter the bedroom.
- Communication with the host is quite poor.
Useful tip: the wi-fi password is on the back of the router, so you don't waste 2-3 days until you receive information from the host! 🙃

The location, the amount of space in the rental and the views from the balcony were excellent. T
The property needs a few repairs including tightening/replacing the posts and balusters on the railing to the main stairwell (a safety issue). There was no property guide (like the password to the WiFi) and it was impossible to get a response from the host through the booking.com messaging. After multiple tries we were able to get in touch by texting (not calling) the WhatsApp number provided for the property management company. Given other rental services warn against communicating outside their service, I found this frustrating and sketchy.
