There’s a false alarm on a day, hotel offered all guests with free breakfast

A new property near Metrotown Mall that was far from downtown but taxi fare was reasonable when comparing the US/Canadian exchange rate (at the time $1 Canadian was 72 cents US). Food at the location is limited but the mall is slightly more than 100 yards away and has ample dining. For those more "techie" than us (we're basic phone users who don't negotiate apps at all) Vancouver Skyrail system connects downtown and other areas to Metrotown for less than $5 US per ticket. Staff was great, rooms were clean and well appointed. Rates were super reasonable compared to other properties. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Location, but we spent half of what we would have at downtown properties.
