La comida es espectacular. El desayuno súper recomendable. El hotel al ser una fábrica de té tiene muchísimo encanto.

This property is beautiful. Stunning views of the mountains and tea estate. We loved the tea factory tour and the outside patio with fire pit. Sipping a cup of tea looking over the tea estate and the mountains was our highlight.

The food in the hotel is fabulous we had breakfast beautiful buffet with home cooked breads there is an egg station and both continental and Sri Lankan choices . We ate in the hotel for dinner on one night and I had the Sri Lankan buffet but also had the choice of more western dishes eg lamb chops sauté potatoes and vegetables . Plus good dessert selection . There is also an a la carte for more western food eg pizza. The staff are very happy to help you . The view over the hills and Ella rock is fantastic and it’s about 1000-1200 Sri Lankan R into Ella . We went on a trip to the waterfalls and 9 arch bridge organised by the hotel and Ravihara who works for the hotel as their naturalist was brilliant and I would recommend as I think you could curate your own trip.
The bedroom was lovely comfortable bed but it was not that warm it was not that warm outside as was February and also there was noise from above that was easily transmitted. The hotel has been built round a restored tea factory but it probably needs some more insulation for heat and noise ! Although it had a well stocked bar it seemed unable to obtain some beers for my husband and a couple of other guests .
