Cabin was awesome. Perfect location in the middle of Packwood, a cosy authentic mountain town. Restaurants, breakfast places and the Packwood Brewing Co all within a very short distance. Cabin was well equipped and surprisingly spacious. Large modern tv, good ac. Wanted to stay a 2nd night but had to head south to Oregon. Francisco was a very communicative host - made the stay completely stress free.

It was a good location for a trip to Mt St Helens and decently priced
Its name suggests that it's a cabin. It is not a cabin. The description says it's an entire vacation home but it's not. It's actually a badly partitioned trailer. The closest equivalent is a big hotel room. The living room, kitchen and bed are all in one room. The bathroom is a separate room similar to a couple of $100 a night hotels I've stayed in. The separation of the two units is paper thin. There's not a stove or sink in the "kitchen" area and the fridge/freezer is smaller than most motels. Behind and underneath the bed was very dusty. The bathroom sink and the bathtub's stopper mechanisms didn't work. We literally had to smell the food cooking in the other room and couldn't even cook anything in our room.
The first time I booked it, the advertised price was honored after the weird booking process. The second time, they raised the price after I had requested to book it. The only reason I didn't give this room a worse rating is because the price is less than hotels in the area. I feel like this is a bait and switch marketing tactic and is definitely false advertising. Also, the two units in the same building are not labeled well, so the first time I stayed there I tried to get the key from the wrong door and the neighbors called the cops on me, so I had to deal with that an hour after I arrived
