Feedback on 3D2N Homestay Stay Positive: ✅ The house offers complete basic facilities, except that internet access is not provided. It is also reasonably priced for a double-storey unit. Concerns: ❌ The most significant issue was a strong and unpleasant odor throughout the house, which caused discomfort during our stay. Some family members were unable to remain and had to arrange another place to stay. I also incurred additional cost (RM65) for air fresheners. ❌ While the house is generally well-equipped, several items require attention: • Bathroom door (upstairs, in front of the end room) cannot be locked • One upstairs bedroom door is faulty and noisy • Air-conditioning unit in the living room is not functioning well • No alternative fan provided in the single room • Fan in the TV area is excessively noisy, and the space feels quite warm and uncomfortable • The Coway water tasted slightly unpleasant, which may indicate that it has not been serviced ❌ The sofa cushions are also loose and easily displaced, which may lead to concern over potential damage. ❌ In addition, the cleanliness upon check-in was below expectation, with visible dust, sand, and the presence of ants and cockroaches. We had to clean the house ourselves before settling in. ❌ Lastly, the bedding in the single room was uncomfortable and appeared to cause skin irritation. ❌ The management company handling the homestay also seems unfamiliar with the actual condition of the house. Some of the instructions provided were inaccurate and did not reflect the real situation upon check-in/out, which caused some inconvenience. I hope these issues can be addressed for future guests.
