This was my first time in Vancouver and it turned out I chose well! The district is amazing, lots to do and see, friendly people (well, it is Canada after all!) and it feels safe
The apartment was very comfortable and well appointed with everything I needed and more, very comfortable even in the extreme August heat the Northern hemisphere was experiencing at the time. It was quiet despite being in a busy area .....that's busy in a good way. Great views over the dockside, looks amazing lit up at night too.
Bars and shops within easy walking distance. I loved it.
Oh, did I mention that Sam is a great host, friendly and helpful?
Checking in was a bit of a faff but honestly that was probably as much down to my tiredness after travelling all day from Europe!

The location was excellent. The instructions were clear and easy to follow but there were A LOT of them and they were quite negative.
We couldn’t shut the balcony ranch slider as there was a temporary air conditioner blocking it. Consequently we were cold and the noise from the city made it impossible to sleep. We contacted the owner, as instructed, but we had radio silence until the next day. The bed was awful and the pillows were huge and unusable.
