Ongoing refurbishment project not impacting stay whatsoever.
Freshly decorated internally. Hot shower. Parking. Variety of evening meal available. Nice 'feel' to premises.
Good variety of beers.
First time staying although pub known since 1970.
Amended breakfast order freshly cooked, tasty and generous portions.
Coffee.
Chatting to Landlord.
Not rushed at all.
Interesting architectural themes of Tudor Revival building will be enhanced over time where practicable.
Short walk downhill into Barnstaple with great views over surrounding countryside and Taw Estuary.
Ideal location close to Tarka Trail and Rail Station.

Vriendelijke ontvangst, brandschone net gerenoveerde kamer van alle gemakken voorzien, vriendelijkheid en geinteresseerdheid van staff in het algemeen. Koffie, thee, koekjes in overvloed. Gezellige pub.
