We can honestly say that this was the best stay we have ever had throughout all our travels!
We were the only guests during our stay, so we had the whole place completely to ourselves, which made the experience even more special. The entire accommodation is absolutely spotless, the private pools are beautiful, and we were provided with more delicious food than we could ever eat. Every single one of our needs was taken care of, and so much more.
Most of all, we completely fell in love with the wonderful family who runs the place. They welcomed us and treated us as if we were part of their own family. We ended up extending our stay for as long as we possibly could and were genuinely so sad to leave. I really can’t overstate how wonderful our stay was.
The safari tour they organized for us was amazing and incredibly personal. Because of the heat, we unfortunately didn’t see any elephants during the main safari. But our wonderful driver came back later, completely free of charge, to take us to a drinking spot at sunset where we could see elephants. It was such a magical experience. I even wanted to give him a little extra as a thank-you, but he kindly refused to accept anything.
If you are thinking about visiting the Cultural Triangle, you should definitely stay at Voyagers Villa! We couldn’t recommend it more highly.

A true hidden gem! We spent 4 nights at Voyager's Villa and were blown away by the care the hosts put into everything. It is a lovely, intimate property with only two rooms, each featuring its own private patio and plunging pool—the perfect way to cool down after sightseeing. And the food! The hosts cook everything fresh themselves, and it was some of the best Sri Lankan cuisine we’ve had. From delicious, freshly prepared breakfasts to the packed meals they thoughtfully provided for our early sunrise start. They also organized a wonderful village tour for us, which was a trip highlight. This is a hardworking local couple who truly deserve your support—we would go back in a heartbeat!

We received the most wonderful hospitality and excellent service. The newly opened location has a very comfortable room and bathroom, and the main swimming pool is very beautiful. This family-run place has very tasty food. So we had a delicious breakfast and dinner.The surrounding environment is so beautiful that it is best to stay for more than a day. There is excellent access to the major ruins in the surrounding area.It is also an ideal location for visiting the Minneriya & kaudulla National Park and Village Traditional Tours. We will definitely come again.
