Beautiful setting. Loved the on-site restaurant which had a quaint bar and friendly staff. (Their club sandwich is outstanding) We booked a hotel room. It was a bit dated but fit the theme of a rustic cabin.
Needed a night light in the bathroom.

Beautiful location, rooms were big and clean. Beds comfy and very quiet.
Be aware - the pub/restaurant next door was closed Tues and Wed and the nearest town for food/ supplies ( breakfast) is about 9 miles away!

Location! Beautiful nature around.
The hotel rooms have no windows to the outside so the wonderful fresh air has no way of getting inside!
The first room we were given smelled strongly of beer. Upon request we were given an alternative room. The air in the room was stale.
We were visiting in the beginning of the week in the last week of June. There was no breakfast and the only restaurant was closed one of the days for dinner. Glad we shopped at Trader Joe’s in Portland!
There is a microwave in the common hallway.
The nature made up for these issues though and we enjoyed ourselves very much.

We were contacted by the staff on the scheduled day of arrival. Because of a water main break we were encouraged to cancel our reservation with a promise for full reimbursement. We cancelled and had to find alternative accommodations on short notice 30 miles from the hotel. Have not received a confirmation of reimbursement as promised. Waiting to see if the matter gets resolved as promised.
