Enjoy a relaxing stay in this spacious and well-appointed home, thoughtfully designed for comfort and ease. On the main floor, you’ll find an inviting open-plan living room, dining area, and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, essential cookware, utensils, cutlery, and a dishwasher, making culinary adventures effortless. Enjoy your meals at the dining table before unwinding in the cozy seating area with a TV—perfect for relaxed evenings.
This level also features a convenient bathroom with a shower, as well as a laundry area equipped with both a washer and a dryer, ensuring you stay fresh throughout your stay.
Step outside to the covered outdoor area, complete with an additional kitchenette. This space invites you to enjoy the ocean breeze while preparing a barbecue or simply relaxing on the terrace with picturesque beach views.
Upstairs, three inviting en-suite bedrooms await. The master bedroom features a plush double bed and a private bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom offers two comfortable single beds, ideal for friends or family, while the third double en-suite bedroom provides a soothing ambiance and its own private bathroom for restful nights.
The space is always professionally cleaned for your comfort.

A peaceful and charming apartment in the picturesque area of Porto Formoso, on São Miguel Island. Guests are close to the natural swimming pools of Porto Formoso, the seafront promenade, and beautiful north-coast beaches. Surrounded by green landscapes and coastal trails, it’s an ideal retreat for enjoying the Azores’ nature, ocean views, and relaxed island lifestyle.
The best way to get to the property is by car.
Ponta Delgada Airport is just 25 minutes away.
This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before checking into the property. Check-in can be done from 2 PM, pending availability and confirmation.
There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.
Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.
For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.
Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).

We couldn’t believe how perfect this house is. The house itself: impeccably clean and comfortable. There is a room with a large table and comfortable chairs where you can open all the sliding doors on three sides to the ocean - it was heaven. Kitchen, perfect. Bedrooms, perfect. Bathrooms/showers, perfect. Laundry and dishwasher worked perfectly. Zone A/C in all rooms if desired, although we kept the windows open for the ocean air! So many windows and outdoor balcony spaces which were wonderful. And, not a single, solitary insect the whole time we were there. The setting: this beautiful house is RIGHT ON THE BEACH at Praia dos Moinhos - a lovely, uncrowded beach. We woke each morning to having the beach to ourselves!!!! And even when others arrived it was sparsely populated! The sand is great and it is perfect for swimming. And there are even lifeguards!!! And a cafe with music and delicious food. The island is small - and the location of the house was a convenient base to be able to reach all areas! The hosts: Communication was fantastic. They were friendly, helpful, and very responsive!!! They helped with travel/airport questions, and sky questions we had from the initial booking to a change in dates to adding a person to any house questions were answered right away! (And for any future guests, we did enjoy visits from a very distinguished cat each day - we read that the island collectively takes care of the cats since they are good for keeping mice away! We loved him!)

We loved this house and the location! For beach people, this house is perfect! Could not have asked for better access to a beach that quickly became a favorite for us in the Azores! While the beach is busy during the day, the evenings were quiet and listening to the waves was the perfect soundtrack to our stay. We loved walking to the trails in the area and the two restaurants nearby. Also, the kitchen was well-stocked with all that we needed! Fabulous home!

We had a beautiful view of the beach, ocean, and surrounding cliffs from the patio and the wonderful dining area opened to the breeze and sounds of the waves.
