the mattresses were worn, there was just one small towel for two of us, there were no blinding curtains.

It has a great location and an amazing view overlooking the city's tall buildings. The beds were convenient and there was a kitchen with some appliances but I did not really get to try any. The room size was well enough for our stay and it was really cheap for such a nice view.
Since it is a shared apartment, we had to stand in line for a shower. One is definitely not enough. The bad smell in the toilets lingered for a long time, so I assume the ventilation is not working efficiently, and it is a really good idea to install toilet capsules to avoid it.
