Generally, the hotel is really nice, but I have some ‘buts’;
The design is really beautiful, but looking at the first wear and tear after just being open for 3 months, I hope they will maintain it well enough.
The location is quite rural, which definetely has it’s charm and gives a beautiful view, but the road towards it is in pretty bad condition.
The rooms have a lot of modern features, with automated curtain closing and one panel for all lights, but it feels a little unnecessarily complicated.
We stayed for a few nights at the end of the season, and there weren’t so many guests anymore, which is why the breakfast was offered a la carte, instead of a buffet (which is completely fair and understandable). However, with each passing day, it got a bit more basic (no yoghurt anymore, fresh orange juice became pre-packaged, fewer pastries, half of the a la cart options not available anymore, etc).

Le logement était très bien, propre et très confortable.
La restauration pourrait être amélioré, le petit-déjeuner pourrait être mieux varié.

Wir hatten einen rundum schönen Aufenthalt im Nrme Slow Living Retreat und können es von Herzen weiterempfehlen!
Das gesamte Personal ist super lieb, herzlich und bemüht. Man merkt, dass sich alle große Mühe geben, den Gästen einen schönen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Gerade diese freundliche und entspannte Atmosphäre macht den Unterschied aus.
Da das Hotel erst im August eröffnet wurde, gibt es hier und da verständlicherweise noch kleine Abläufe, die sich einspielen müssen – beispielsweise beim Thema Housekeeping. Das ist bei einer Neueröffnung völlig normal und hat unseren insgesamt sehr positiven Eindruck nicht getrübt.
Besonders gefallen hat uns die ruhige, entspannte Atmosphäre. Hier kann man wunderbar abschalten, den Alltag hinter sich lassen und Kreta in aller Ruhe genießen.
Ein kleiner Tipp: Aufgrund der Lage ist ein Mietwagen empfehlenswert, wenn man die Umgebung und die Insel flexibel erkunden möchte.
Für uns ein toller Ort mit viel Potenzial, herzlichen Menschen und einer wunderbar entspannten Atmosphäre. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
Klare 10/10 und eine echte Empfehlung für alle, die auf Kreta Ruhe und Erholung suchen! ❤️
