Very pleasant 1-night stay at Dharlak Serene Stay.
The property is very neat and clean. The mountain view from the room was beautiful and the location is peaceful. ♥️⛰️

The property was a short walk from town so it had beautiful views and we could walk to town easily or go to explore the tea plantations.
The host could not have been more helpful, going above and beyond with our onward travel. He suggested a wonderful walk along the rail track for us too.
We discussed breakfast with the host. It maybe needs to be prepared freshly - we would have been happy with simple toast and freshly cooked egg - but it’s a minor detail. Different people like different things.

Recently built new rooms, Clean environment, nice decent staff, mountain view, close to Hatton town, Silent calm environment.
Not having loading zone in front of the entrance. Probably will build soon.

This is a very new property so everything looks very new and clean. The view from the balcony is beautiful and every morning they serve a local breakfast.
It was nice that there was a shared fridge you could use, along with some plates and cutlery. We used it to have yoghurt with fruit for lunch. You can also refill your water bottle!
There is a switch for hot water which is nice, and the owners are always happy to help. The location is a short walk from the main town, in a quieter area of Hatton, which we very much enjoyed.
This is something the owners can’t really do anything about but there are some dogs in the area that bark, also sometimes at night. We were able to sleep through it but sometimes it woke us up.
