Norea Sands is much more than a hotel: it’s a place that feels like home. We were a group of 10 friends and from the very first moment, Nilu welcomed us like family.
The villa is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. Every breakfast and dinner was absolutely delicious, prepared with genuine care and generosity. What made our stay truly special, however, was Nilu’s incredible hospitality. He organized amazing local excursions, joined us on many of them, shared stories about Sri Lanka, and helped us experience the country in the most authentic way possible.
His kindness, passion, and warmth left a lasting mark on all of us. By the end of our stay, it felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend rather than an host.
Norea Sands deserves to be discovered by travelers from all over the world. If you’re looking for a beautiful place, genuine people, and memories you’ll never forget, this is it.

We really had a nice time at Norea Sands, we arrived with our kids and asked if they had any bananas for a snack - immediately were given a beautiful fruit platter. We felt really welcomed and valued and were grateful to have the offer of dinner and lunch - which were delicious. The pool is lovely and the beach is just there!
