The Neighborhood:
Lagoon Road sits near the southern end of Estero Island, the quiet residential stretch of Fort Myers Beach, well away from the busier north end.
What's nearby
🔹 The Gulf beach: a short walk, with wide, calm sand
🔹 Little Estero Lagoon: tidal flats known for wading birds at low tide
🔹 Lovers Key State Park: kayak launches and undeveloped shoreline just across Big Carlos Pass
🔹 Estero Boulevard: restaurants, beach bars, shops and water sports rentals
Good to know: Fort Myers Beach is still rebuilding in places after Hurricane Ian. Restaurants and shops continue to reopen, but expect some active construction on the island.
Getting Around:
A car is handy for your arrival and for stocking up on the mainland, and free on-site parking is included. Once you're settled, much of the south end is walkable or easy by bike.
🔹 Estero Boulevard: the island's main road, so expect slow traffic and limited parking in high season
🔹 Beach trolley: runs the length of Estero Boulevard and is often quicker than driving
