The heart of the home, an open concept living area invites you to unwind by the sleek electric fireplace or gather around the stylish, fully equipped modern kitchen and large island. Whether you're sipping morning coffee while watching the waves or enjoying a sunset dinner, the scenery at Shell Street Lookout never disappoints. The primary suite is the star of the home, featuring expansive windows that frame a lovely view of the ocean and a private ensuite bath that creates a serene, spa-like escape. Two additional bedrooms and beautifully appointed bathrooms ensure plenty of space for families or groups. For added fun, Shell Street Lookout features a dedicated game room upstairs, complete with a ping pong table, a game table, a comfortable sofa, and a television-ideal spot for friendly competition or a cozy movie night.
Located on the south side of Yachats, this home is nestled on Shell Street, just beside Yachats Ocean Road State Park and the Yachats Wayside, where the road makes a one-mile loop, exposing one of the most scenic viewpoints on the coast: the Yachats Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Walk along a trail that gently winds around the Yachats Bay, where the river meets the sea. Enjoy access to the beach, tide pools, blowholes, summer sunsets, stormy drama, and whale watching. Vehicles: Licensed for 3 (strictly enforced- No street parking allowed)
Standard: 2 night minimum; Summer & Holidays: 3-4 night minimum.

*Age Requirement: The primary registered guest must be at least 26 years of age. The majority of guests must be over 25, or children under adult supervision.
*This home does not allow cat guests or other non-human, non-canine visitors. Dogs are welcome at this home but must be registered in advance and paid prior to arrival. This home has a 3-dog maximum occupancy! Pet Guests: One time $35+tax fee per dog. Pet fees are not included in the original reservation.

This is the newest/nicest house I've rented in this area. It is close enought to the beach to walk. There is a public access/stairway area to get down to the beach - look for that, it's much easier :) The house has great views, especially from the upstairs master bedroom & game room. Parking is a little tight due to the shared driveway, but we only had 1 car so it wasnt too bad. Beautiful home!

We booked this home to celebrate my wife’s birthday and our children’s graduation from kindergarten and third grade. The home itself is beautiful, but our stay started with significant cleanliness issues.Upon arrival, we found pet hair, dirt, and debris throughout the home, including on furniture, counters, and dishes. The most serious issue was a strong odor coming from the living room. It appeared a previous guest had vomited on the rug, and the vacuum provided had been used to clean it up.The vacuum smelled terrible whenever it was turned on and was so clogged that I had to manually clean it myself. Even then, the odor remained. It became so overwhelming that I rolled up the rug and moved it into the garage so our family could use the living room.Instead of enjoying our vacation at first, we spent hours cleaning, documenting issues, and communicating with management. We were unable to comfortably use the main living room and fireplace area for part of our stay.Communication with management was slow at first and required multiple follow-ups and finally a phone call to VRBO and management company, finally, we were able to get through via phone call. To management’s credit, they ultimately acknowledged the issues and provided a partial refund. The home has a lot of potential and is beautiful, but better cleaning, inspection, and preparation before guest arrival would have made a huge difference.
