The views around this property are outstanding, and can be seen perfectly from the master bedroom, livingroom and extension/orangery (or the front lawn, where we spent a lot of time). It felt as though we were a million miles away from civilisation, but with the convenience of being just 20 minutes away from some of our family in Aberdeen city centre, and 15 minutes away from others in Kemnay. The perfect spot! The grounds are really beautiful, and our 1 year old loved exploring the garden and its beautiful flowers (and bunnies!).
The house itself is incredibly spacious, and has an open flow between all rooms, which was excellent for letting our little one toddle about and practice her walking - this was also helped by how baby safe the property is!
We even had family round for dinner on our last evening to take advantage of how family friendly the place was, and it was just perfect for hosting a meal and playing in the garden with the children.
The decor is wonderfully traditional, everything was sparkling clean, and the TV had all the apps you could ever want to cozy up with a movie once the sun goes down.
Thank you for a wonderful stay. This will be our new Aberdeenshire home from home!
The only small downside for us is that the property isn’t pet friendly, so we can’t bring our dogs with us.
