Scott and Jess are amazing hosts—friendly, helpful, and incredibly accommodating. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The property was easier to reach than we expected while still feeling peaceful and surrounded by nature, and the house was much larger than the photos suggested. It was thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need. Scott answered all our questions and went out of his way to ensure we had a wonderful stay.
Our group of five had a fantastic time enjoying the board games, beautiful surroundings, well-stocked kitchen, appreciating the thoughtfulness of the home setting, and scenic drives around the area. The views from the property are absolutely breathtaking. The house was clean and comfortable, with no bugs inside, and everything worked perfectly—the stove, refrigerator, heater, portable fan, and more. The kitchen had plenty of bowls, plates, silverware, and cooking essentials, and the bathroom was stocked with everything we needed.
Last but not least, they have a wonderful dog named Taku, who helps keep the moose away from the property. We felt completely safe, comfortable, and incredibly relaxed throughout our stay. We would absolutely love to stay here again.

Wonderful to stay in an authentic log house! It was beautifully and authentically furnished and equipped. Warm, and welcoming. Spacious and comfortable.
We didn't realise that we would be staying in someone's actual home that was a shared space. We had assumed it was a guest house, but were surprised then my husband got out of the shower and one of the hosts was in the kitchen having breakfast. If we had known this, we would not have minded, but it came as a surprise - my husband was not dressed! Apparently they sleep in a different building but use the guest house for their cooking / eating...

Good central location.
It was not clear from the property description that the bathroom, kitchen and living room was all a shared space with other people.
