We enjoyed to be within nature. Only one neighbour. Nice sleeping rooms, 2 toilets and in the kitchen everything there what wie needed to cook. After hiking etc. we relaxed in the living room.
Everything was as seen on the pictures when we decided to book the House.
We felt being welcome and had a convenient stay.

Spacious house, well equipped kitchen, and stocked with some basics and some short bread and wine which is a nice touch. Heat worked well Ana we enjoyed the fireplace everyday with fire wood that was provided.
The house is in a very remote location. Instructions to arrive didn’t mention that there are “road closed” and “authorized vehicle only” signs on the way, making us doubt if we were in the right place. The gps location they provided wasn’t accurate so it was hard to know. The house is 30-40 minutes from Portree (and the nearest supermarket) so you need to be well planned with food and supplies. It’s located close to the Fairy Pools and other attractions in the south end of the island, but 45-60 minutes from northern attractions line the museum and Quiraing. Via booking, there was no correspondence with the host like you expect on Airbnb.
