Really beautiful property , great access to beach ( only place in the great lakes that we stayed that had beach chairs, activities in their private beach ), and small , but very cute and well thought out and well appointed room. Good breakfast. Overall, staff was great, excellent communications and we had a lovely stay.

I loved the hospitality of owner Josh. The property is in a non official dark sky area so star gazing was wonderful. The 3 bedroom room suite/deluxe apartment was very spacious and has 1.5 bathrooms. It can easily sleep 8 with more room too. It had some complimentary toiletries. It was quiet and peaceful. Nice view of the sunrise/sunset.
We got down to eat breakfast at 9:48am to find that it was nearly gone and there was no one around to replenish it. I called the office number a few times and no one answered so I went up to the desk and a young lady was there who came down to help. She was able to replenish two items but didn’t know how to replenish the eggs. The refrigerator was empty also. Spoons needed replenishing. In addition to that we would have liked curtains over the kitchen window and door window for privacy as you can see in them well from outside. An earlier breakfast start time would be nice as well maybe around 6-7am. More fruit options too and I suggest that maybe the eggs be replaced with a better quality option. Was hoping the beach was suitable for rock hounding but it’s a sandy beach. Not a lot of food options in the area past 8/9pm and in general it’s mostly bars.
