I loved how the staff at Madpackers is super eager to help, cooperative and genuinely caring. Moreover, they are just really fun people to hang out with!
The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that I had to pack and unpack my suitcase time and again but that’s just your usual hostel norm so in a way I knew what I was signing up for!

I stayed at Madpackers Varanasi for a week during my solo trip, and honestly, it felt more like home than a hostel.
I stayed in the female dorm, and the beds were surprisingly spacious, comfortable, and well-designed. There were small storage corners and enough space to keep all my belongings organized, which made the stay even more convenient.
What I loved the most was the vibe. The environment was extremely friendly, warm, and homely. Even though I was travelling solo, I never really felt like I was alone or away from home. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and I always felt comfortable and safe throughout my stay.
The food was another highlight — it tasted very much like home and was genuinely delicious. I also really enjoyed spending time on the terrace and soaking in the overall vibe of the place.
Overall, my one-week stay at Madpackers was comfortable, safe, and memorable. If you’re travelling to Varanasi, especially solo, I would definitely recommend staying here. I would happily choose Madpackers again!

Had a wonderful stay at Madpackers Varanasi! The hostel was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The hospitality was excellent, and the team—Navneet, Sunil, Shayan, and Rakesh Bhaiya—was extremely warm and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Banaras!
