The. cottage was very central in Tideswell. It was very clean and there were tea, coffee and milk supplied ready as well as dog treats, a dog bed, poo bags etc. The hosts were very helpful and had thought of everything as well as communicating readily. We loved our stay 🤩

Cottage was comfortable and clean, nice little outdoor area to sit and have our G&T.
Parking space was a plus as many in the area are on street.
More than expected with coffee, tea, biscuits in the kitchen along with cloths, sponges, dish soap, even toiletries in the bathroom. More than most provide from experience.
Location was great for Chatsworth and Bakewell (15/ 20 mins drive).
Tideswell is a nice village too with pubs, coffee shop, Coop and bakery.
Only thing missing in the kitchen was a spatula for the fried eggs!!
Church is nearby and bells through the night. No problem for us but might for a light sleeper

Excellent location, with parking right outside. The house had all the equipment that we need and it was only 5 minutes walk to the shops.

Fantastic location - just a couple of minutes walk into the heart of the village , and also conveniently located for the rest of the Peak District. Communications from the owner were excellent- we had a query and it was dealt with immediately. Very dog-friendly with lovely touches eg dog bed, bowls, treats and poo bags all provided and with no extra charge for the dogs!
Only a couple of minor things : a welcome pack with all details re appliances, local conveniences eg doctor / vet / shops / restaurants recommendations/ local walks , would be useful
The long mirror in the twin bedroom could do with being placed higher up as had to bend to see while doing hair ( I know this is very minor!)
