On the positive side, the property itself was spacious, the location of the site was really good, and the property owner was flexible with the check-out time. We were able to check out at around 11:30 am, which was appreciated.
Overall, the location and spaciousness were good, but the lack of basic amenities and the initial lighting issue made the stay less enjoyable than expected.
Unfortunately, my experience was a bit disappointing, as the holiday started with no electricity/light in the caravan after driving for around three hours. I had to contact the property owner and then the security team to get the issue resolved, and it took nearly an hour before it was fixed. The site staff mentioned that the lighting issue had already been happening for around a week, so I feel the property owner should have informed us in advance.
There were also no towels provided at all, no bins available in the property, and the duvet and pillows for the living-room sofa bed were provided without covers.
