You have to know that the houses were accessible by foot and with little golf carts because of the really narrow paths around the property. It is nested around rice fields which is very quiet at night. It is not a con per say, just another way of organizing your mobility around.
WiFi and air conditioning were good. Restaurant was really nice and food was delicious. Breakfast was copious. Staff was amazing, friendly, smiling and responding very quickly. Pure gems.
Spa is a bonus. One of a kind stone chamber.

First of all, the place is just as beautiful in real life as it looks in the photos!
I had an amazing stay here and couldn’t have felt more welcomed. I was here for quite a while, so the villa really became my little home in Bali, and the whole team made my experience even better. Everyone was always kind and happy to help whenever I needed anything.
A special thank you to Edo for being so attentive throughout my entire stay. It truly made a difference and I really appreciated it!
I felt so comfortable and well taken care of here, and I would happily come back without hesitation. Thank you again to the whole team for such a lovely stay!
If I really have to think of one very small downside, I just thought the gym was located on-site, but it’s actually about a 30-minute walk away, and access was a little confusing cause they didn’t understand I came from Shankara d’Uma. But nothing major.
Last point: As I stayed for several weeks, it did represent quite a significant budget overall, which is probably the only thing I would mention for anyone considering a long stay. However, I genuinely felt it was worth it. The service was consistently excellent, and I don’t regret my choice at all.
