We really liked the traditional and rustic style of the apartment, especially the stone walls and the overall atmosphere. Despite the very high temperatures outside, the apartment remained naturally cool, so we hardly needed to use the air conditioning. This was definitely one of the best features of the property.
Considering the price we paid for the accommodation, we were disappointed that there was no Wi-Fi. This was not clearly stated when we made the reservation, and mobile internet in Italy was quite expensive, so we had to purchase additional data. There was also no proper view from the apartment, which made the stay somewhat less comfortable.
We also experienced several problems with the electricity. The circuit breakers repeatedly tripped whenever two appliances were used at the same time — for example, the washing machine and air conditioning, or the oven and air conditioning, could not operate simultaneously. This was not an isolated incident; the same problem occurred repeatedly over several days during our stay. On one occasion, we were left without electricity for several hours.
Finally, we were offered an €80 refund on the condition that we left a positive review. Despite this promise, the refund was never paid. Considering that the accommodation cost us nearly €700 for less than 10 days, we find this particularly disappointing and feel that the issues we experienced were not adequately addressed.
