The location is great, in the more attractive southern part of Karakol and near the Duet Hostel and Hut bar, where it all happens. The staff are friendly, and speak some English, but forgot to tell me the outside gate code (so lucky I guessed it when I came back at midnight). The room is fine, bed a little hard as is normal in Kyrgyzstan, coffee and tea on tap downstairs in the guesthouse.
The curtains didn't fit the bedroom window so had to use my shirt. This needs fixing. Many places include breakfast so this would have been good.

Great place - fantastic deal. Close to bus 350 to mountains and hot spring and to good restaurants (Imperiya is good here). Big store about 8 minutes walk away. Opposite to victory park.
