About this drivable vehicle rental
Betsy is a well-travelled and experienced camper who has proven her durability many times.
The camper is clean, simple, and very comfortable. She is an older model, so there is no Bluetooth connection, but you're renting to connect with nature, who needs Bluetooth, right!?
It has a very reliable engine which is well serviced and maintained, so you do not need to worry about Betsy failing you, and not displaying her adventurous spirit. It is fun and easy to drive, roomy enough to live comfortably, but still easy to drive and park and has plenty of storage beneath the bed. She comes equipped with all-terrain tires and loves the ferry ride over to explore Vancouver Island, should you desire. The van is under 7ft in height and 18ft in length, so if you book a ferry ticket, it will be classified as a standard vehicle. She is insulated to keep in the heat, so it shouldn't be cold during summer months, however, to be on the safe side, we've included a buddy heater just in case nights are unusually cold (there's nothing worse than shivering your way through those long nights. FYI, we've never had to use the heater).
Sheets, pillows, and multiple blankets are included and all are washed prior to each rental. Towels not included, but new towels can be provided if requested.
A few notes:
Gas tank is full upon pick up. Please fill the tank before returning. You'll be charged for the gas cost + $50 refill fee if not.
Pets are permitted.
Bring her back in the state in which you received it.
Each rental night includes 150 km — $ 0.50 per km overage.
