The Mediterranean Eco Villa is exactly like the photos — and even more beautiful in person.
If you are looking for a peaceful getaway from a busy office life and want to relax far away from everyday noise, distractions and stress, this is the perfect place for you. Silence, solitude and amazing sleep are guaranteed. This was definitely one of those places that went straight back onto our bucket list — a place where my wife and I will certainly return for another stint of non-digital countryside heaven.
This amazing and unique Eco villa was very easy to reach after flying into Alicante. From there, we took a bus to Benissa and then a taxi to the villa. This route is very easy and affordable for any backpacker. The scenery from the Villa and around it was absolutely picture-perfect. The nearest little village was about 2 km away, and the closest small town, Alcalalí, was around 4 km away, with a grocery store and everything else we needed. Getting around to these places by running, hiking or cycling was very easy.
Victor was an amazing host and helped us with everything we needed. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful. In addition to the Scandinavian-bohemian minimalist interior design, there were several stunning terraces where sunbathing, yoga, reading and meditation felt like something out of a movie. As if time stood still for a while.
